These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and Stringly (“Stringly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, downloading, or using the Stringly mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Stringly, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which form part of this agreement.

We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on the Service with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or use Stringly.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.

We monitor for underage activity and reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we suspect users are below the permitted age.

3. Account Creation and Security

You may create an account through manual sign-up or via approved third-party platforms.
You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.
You may delete your account at any time through in-app settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for security or legal reasons.

4. Service Overview

Stringly provides a digital platform that enables users to discover, connect, and communicate with others through interactive features such as matchmaking, messaging, stories, and AI-assisted chat enhancements.

We may introduce, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

5. Verification and Data

To maintain authenticity and safety within the community, Stringly may offer optional or required identity verification features.

As part of this process, we may collect and store limited verification data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not publicly disclose raw verification data and use it solely for account authentication and safety purposes.

6. AI Features

Stringly uses AI-driven tools to improve your experience — such as generating conversation suggestions or enhancing interactions.

AI outputs are intended as assistance only. You remain solely responsible for your communications and actions within the Service.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated suggestions.

7. User Content and License

You are responsible for all content (photos, text, media, or information) you post or share (“User Content”).
You grant Stringly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for operating and improving the Service.
You must not post content that violates any laws, infringes third-party rights, or breaches our Community Guidelines.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Misrepresent your identity or age.
Engage in harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
Post explicit, violent, or harmful content.
Solicit funds, promote commercial goods, or advertise without authorization.
Share misleading or false information.
Use bots, automation, or scraping tools to interact with the Service.
Violate any applicable laws or these Terms.

We may remove any content or accounts found violating these rules.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

Stringly combines automated moderation, user reporting, and human review to detect and manage violations.

We may remove content, limit access, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal through the in-app process or by contacting our support team.

10. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features or enhancements on Stringly may be available through paid plans or subscriptions.

Payment terms and pricing will be displayed at purchase and may vary by region.
Purchases through third-party platforms (e.g., App Store or Google Play) are governed by their respective payment policies.
Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable.
You may cancel subscriptions according to the instructions provided by the respective app store.

11. Safety Guidelines

Your safety is important to us. When meeting other users:

Always meet in public places for the first time.
Inform a trusted contact of your plans.
Do not share sensitive personal information too early.

Stringly does not perform background checks on all users and cannot guarantee the conduct of any individual. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and process personal information.

By using Stringly, you consent to our data practices described therein.

13. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, designs, text, graphics, logos, and software used on the Service are owned or licensed by Stringly and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of the Service without our written consent.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Stringly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stringly and its affiliates from any loss, damages, claims, or expenses arising out of:

Your use of the Service,
Your violation of these Terms, or
Your violation of any rights of another user or third party.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, endangered user safety, or engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ceases immediately.

17. Disclaimers

The Service and all content provided through it are offered “as is” and “as available.”

We make no representations or warranties regarding uninterrupted access, error-free functionality, or specific results from use.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Stringly and supersede all prior understandings.
